HELLO THERE, all of you BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE and SO LONG, SCUMBAGS to all of you SCUMBAGS! (You know who you are). If you've bothered to check my profile you might know a LITTLE BIT about me (if I haven't completely lied to you; no, I haven't). In fact, I'm too honest and outspoken for my own good and that gets me into trouble sometimes. Being an ex-NEW YORKER - YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT? - I do tend to be a bit OUTSPOKEN about certain things, such as FREEDOM, INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS, TRUTH, HONESTY, A SENSE OF FAIR PLAY, LIVE AND LET LIVE PHILOSOPHY, etc., etc. I have a BIG DISLIKE for CORRUPT POLITICIANS, BROWN-NOSING NAVAL OFFICERS, MOOKS, GEEKS, LIARS, GEORGE BUSH, DICK CHANEY, DONALD RUMSFELD, LAWYERS WHO LIE (I guess that's all of them), COPS WHO OPERATE UNDER COLOR OF LAW TO DENY PEOPLE THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS, (probably most of them due to their flawed training), FBI AGENTS WHO HELP COVER-UP CRIMINAL ACTS LIKE 911, OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING, TWA FLIGHT 800, ASSASSINATION OF PRESIDENTS AND OTHER PUBLIC FIGURES, etc., AND SHAPE-SHIFTING LIZARDS!
Since we live in a world where a lot of these DESPICABLE CREATURES unfortunately reside along with us and continue to cause us GRIEF of one sort or another, I find that it sometimes helps me to LET OFF A LITTLE STEAM BY BLOWING MY TOP A LITTLE BIT FROM TIME TO TIME! (Or even every day if I feel the need). Well, you know what? I'M NOT ALONE!
I want to share something with you that I discovered yesterday. I came across a website - www.thekidfrombrooklyn.com - and I spent the rest of yesterday afternoon LAUGHING MY ASS OFF! There's this guy from BROOKLYN (that's in NEW YORK for any of you DUMMIES who are reading my BLOGS when you're not supposed to) who calls himself, BIG MIKE. He RANTS AND RAVES about things that PISS HIM OFF and he's the FUNNIEST GUY I've ever seen. On his website you can watch him LETTING OFF STEAM about his own personal PET PEEVES and I swear, it's just like getting THERAPY! I get so FRUSTRATED at the way the SCUMBAGS IN CHARGE ARE LYING TO US, SCREWING US, TRYING TO TAKE AWAY OUR RIGHTS, TRYING TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRY, TRYING TO ROB OUR MONEY, SHIPPING OUR JOBS AND FACTORIES OVERSEAS, CORRUPTING OUR POLITICAL PROCESS, SUBVERTING OUR CONSTITUTION or just plain ANNOYING ME that I need a little DISTRACTION FROM IT ALL every now and then. Well, this guy, MIKE - THE KID FROM BROOKLYN.COM - delivers!
Now, I have NO AFFILIATION with him at all. I don't know the guy but I CAN DEFINITELY RELATE TO WHAT HE'S SAYING AND HOW HE'S SAYING IT! Of course, being from BROOKLYN myself ABSOLUTELY helps me to UNDERSTAND where MIKE is COMING FROM. People who were born in BROOKLYN are a SPECIAL BREED and we UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER PERFECTLY! It doesn't matter if you're BLACK, WHITE, BROWN, YELLOW, RED OR MULTI-COLORED; whether you're IRISH, ITALIAN, JEWISH, CATHOLIC, PROTESTANT, GREEK, PUERTO RICAN, SPANISH, RUSSIAN or whatever - If you were BORN AND RAISED IN BROOKLYN you've GOT THE BROOKLYN HEAD. ("To Know Brooklyn Is To Know The World". Arthur Miller) Even if you're from somewhere else, I think you will enjoy watching MIKE do his thing - if you have A SENSE OF HUMOR, that is. I'm going to stop my blog right now and TUNE IN. I need some more laughter. It's true what they say - LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE!
